Connection

This is the connection section.
You can connect your Tamagotchi to others using this icon. Babies can't use it on the Plus and the Connexion.
You can connect your Tamagotchi with later Connexion and Connection versions (V2-V4.5), but only the Plus can connect to a Keitai series Tamagotchi. A Plus can't marry a Keitai, even if they can connect.

Games

There are two games:

Pop the balloon:
The Tamagotchi that manages to pop the balloon wins.
They'll have an advantage if their stomach is full.

Speed eating:
The Tamagotchi that manages to eat all the food wins.
They'll have an advantage if they're hungry.

Your Tamagotchi will have an advantage in both games if:

• They have few care mistakes.
• They are under 80 g.
• They are 5 years (days) older than the opponent.

Your Tamagotchi will get a Happy heart if they win, and lose it if they don't. Their friendship level will increase a 5% regardless of the results.

Gift exchange

The Tamagotchi on which the Ⓑ button was pressed will get a gift from the other.
Their friendship level with the other Tamagotchi will change depending on the gift obtained:

You Tamagotchi will get sick if they get the skull. They won't get it from Tamagotchis it gets along well with.
The gifts they get will be better as their friendship level gets higher.

Marriage

After spending a day as an adult, your Tamagotchi will be able to marry other Tamagtochis via connection.
If their friendship level is as high as it can be, they'll get married and have babies the next time they connect. If it's lower, the chances of it happening are lower too.
Remember a Tamagotchi from a Plus won't be able to marry one from the Keitai series.

Friendship levels

Deka Tamagotchi

You could find huge Tamagotchis you could connect your Plus at some places in Japan, but they have all been removed already…
You could get special gifts from characters you could not normally see on your Plus, but it's no longer possible to see this through normal gameplay.

You can use debug mode to get the Deka characters.
There are some American versions that can be put in Deka mode if you connect the JP2 jumper.
You may still get to see some of these animations and gifts by doing these things, but it seems sometimes the connection fails or a normal connection takes place instead.
