Food

Use this icon when you want to feed your Tamagotchi.
Meals will give them one Hungry heart and increase their weight by a gram. Snacks will give them one Happy heart and increase their weight by two grams.

You'll have three options on the V2: meals, snacks and treats you buy at the shop.
You don't get to choose a specific food item with the first two options. Your Tamagotchi will just eat a default food depending on their current stage.
The treats fill their stomach by one heart, give them two happy hearts, and increase their weight by one gram.

On the V3 and the rerelease you'll only have the first two options. You'll always be able to choose what to feed your Tamagotchi.

Each character has their own tastes. All of them (except for Oyajitchi) have a food item they love and one they hate. They all like the steak, but you need a secret code to get it…
If they like what they eat, their happy meter will be maxed out. If they hate it, it'll drop to zero. In any other case, nothing special will happen.

These are the meals you'll always have on the V3 and the 2024 version. You'll also get these meals by default on the V2 on certain stages.

Each of these can only be used once on these versions.
I'll also write their prices and whether or not you can get them on each version.
The steak and some of the food items on the V3 and the rerelease can only be obtained using a code (C).
