V2 games
You can play games with your Tamagotchi to improve their mood, have them lose weight and
earn Gotchi points.
Your Tamagotchi will need to weight, at least, three grams more than their minimum weight,
since that's how much they'll lose if they win the game. Their weight will always decrease, at least, one gram, even if they lose.
The V2 has four games. I'll go over each of them in order:
JUMP
This is the only game you have access to during the first stage of your Tamagotchi's life.
This is also the best game to play to get happy hearts, at least until the adult stage.
When you start the game, you'll see three circles at the top of the screen.
They'll light up one by one in a random order. The time it takes for each one to light up is also random.
You have to press the corresponding button as soon as each circle lights up
(Ⓐ for the left circle, Ⓑ for the middle one, and Ⓒ for the right one.)
You may need to practice a bit before you learn how to time it correctly.
I find it easier to try and guess which button will light up in advance and then press that button as soon as it beeps.
I might not make it in time if I stop to see which circle lighted up.
If you don't manage to press any of the buttons in time, your Tamagotchi will fall flat on their face and get nothing, but, if you manage to get at least one right, your Tamagotchi will jump and get a Happy heart. They'll also lose weight, more or less depending on how far they jumped.
How far your Tamagotchi jumps depends on their weight (relative to their minimum weight) and how many buttons you pressed on time.
Getting the first one right is worth more than the other two.
The amount of Gotchi points you are awarded depends on this distance:
Buttons pressed on time |
Weight above minimum |

---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
+3 g | From +4 g to +8 g |
From +9 g to +13 g |
From +14 g to +23 g |
From +24 g to +43 g |

+64 g or more |

50 | 30 | 20 | 15 | 10 | 8 | 5 |
3 | 100 | 50 | 30 | 20 | 15 | 10 | 8 |
If you get 100 points, you'll win the game, and your Tamagotchi's happiness will rise to the maximum value.
If you get 50 points or more, your Tamagotchi's physical health will improve.
BUMP
Your Tamagotchi will be able to play this game after reaching the second stage.
This game is far less predictable than the first one. You are very unlikely to win.
If you can beat the first round consistently, it could be a good way of earning some Gotchi points and lowering your Tamagotchi's weight (they'll lose two grams if they beat the first round.)
There are eight rounds. At the start of each round, your Tamagotchi will come from the left and a rival will appear from the right.
They'll face away from each other and, a few moments later, you'll be prompted to PUSH the Ⓑ button. Once you've done it,
a gauge will appear on the top of the screen. It seems you need to stop it (pushing Ⓑ once again) when it's as full as possible,
but I've lost with a full gauge and won with an almost empty one, so I'm not too sure.
Now, if you don't push Ⓑ as soon as the text shows up, your Tamagotchi will lose for sure.
I don't know what the best strategy to win this game is, but it seems heavier Tamagotchis are more likely to win. However, heavier Tamagotchis will earn fewer points:

7 | 400 | 300 | 200 | 100 |
8 | 800 | 600 | 400 | 200 |
Your Tamagotchi must win at least four rounds to get one Happy heart.
If they win all the rounds, their happiness will be maxed out.
Their mental health will improve if they beat at least seven rounds.
HEADING
Your Tamagotchi will be able to play this game if they are a teen or older.
This is the easiest game, but it can be tricky if your V2's buttons don't respond well.
You must stop the ball from falling to the floor. You have to move your Tamagotchi below it (use Ⓐ & Ⓒ to move them) and
make them jump (with Ⓑ) to hit it.
You should move your Tamagotchi to the center after each hit.
You must hit the ball 20 times to win:
Hits | Points |
---|---|
0 | 0 |
1 | 2 |
2 | 4 |
3 | 6 |
4 | 8 |
5 | 10 |
6 | 12 |
7 | 14 |

9 | 18 |

15 | 50 |
16 | 60 |
17 | 70 |
18 | 80 |
19 | 90 |
20 | 100 |
You must hit the ball eleven times or more for your Tamagotchi to get a Happy heart.
If they win the game, their happiness will be maxed out and their physical health will improve.
SLOTS
This game is only for adults.
Unlike in real life, slots are the best way to earn money in this version.
First, you must choose how many Gotchi points to bet.
Then, you'll have to press Ⓑ to stop your Tamagotchi three times.
You have to try to make them stop on a happy pose, and avoid making them stop on an unhappy one.
If you manage to do it, a 〇 will appear. If they stop on a neutral pose, you'll get a △ instead. You'll get an X if they look upset.
The amount of Gotchi points you get depends on the initial bet (the order of the symbols does not matter):
Symbols | Points |
---|---|
XXX | x0 |
△XX | x1 |
△△X | x3 |
△△△ | x5 |
〇XX | x8 |
〇△X | x10 |
〇△△ | x20 |
〇〇X | x30 |
〇〇△ | x50 |
〇〇〇 | x100 |
If you bet nine points and get three 〇, you'll get 900 Gotchi points!
Well, it'd technically be 891, since you lose the nine points you bet.
Your Tamagotchi must get at least one 〇 to get a Happy heart.
If they get all three, their happiness will be maxed out and their mental health will improve.
