Connection
This is the connection icon's section.
You may connect two Tamagotchi devices using this option.
You may also send your Tamagotchi to school or work using this icon.
Before it shut down, you could also use it to send them to Tamagotchi Town…
Even if the site is no longer available, you can still use that option.
The first two options can be used to connect to another device.
The first one will let you connect two devices from these versions with each other (even a V4 to a V4.5.)
The second one will let you connect it to an earlier device. These two releases are compatible with every previous Connexion (or Connection) device,
the Plus (which is basically the same as the V1), and the Keitai series.
They are not compatible with the Japanese Jinsei series (Entama & Uratama) despite being based on these releases.
Your Tamagotchi will pretend to be a Plus when connecting with different versions, so Nazotchi will replace any character
that does not appear on that version, even if they appear on both of the versions connecting.
During this kind of connection, everything will work [the way it did on the V1].
If you are going to connect two Jinsei (Plus) Tamagotchi releases, you'll be able to choose what they'll do:
After the two connection options, you'll find two more:
the one for [work] and the one to connect to Tamagotchi Town with a [PC].
Game
There are three games. You can't choose which one will be played, and the winner is also random.
The Tamagotchi that wins will get Gotchi points.
In the building blocks game, your Tamagotchi will try to build a tower using blocks.
If their tower falls, they'll lose.
They may also play a soccer match.
As you may have guessed, the Tamagotchi that scores the most goals will win.
The last game is a RC helicopter race.
Your Tamagotchi will win if they get their helicopter to the goal first.
Present
Your Tamagotchi can exchange gifts with other Tamagotchi devices.
The items you can get on these are not as well documented as the ones on the Japanese versions…
But I assume a gift that makes your Tamagotchi happy will make their friendship with the other Tamagotchi increase,
and one that makes them upset will make it decrease.
The Tamagotchi you press the Ⓑ button on will be the one to get the gift.
If you wrap a present in the notebook menu, your Tamagotchi will give it to the next Tamagotchi you send them to…
Or, at least, that's what they should do.
Sometimes, they'll make a bad gift instead. 
They'll make an odd face when this happens. You have to scold them.
They may do something together before the gift scene happens if they get along well.
Visit
The Tamagotchi you press the Ⓑ button on will go visit the other Tamagotchi and they'll do something together.
I'm not sure what's special about this option. I assume it's just a safer option than the other two, since you don't risk
losing a Happy heart for losing a game or having their friendship level decrease because of a bad gift.
Marriage
After spending a day as an adult, your Tamagotchi will be able to marry other Tamagotchis via connection.
If their friendship level is as high as it can be, they'll get married and have babies the next time they connect. If it's lower, the chances of it happening are lower too.
On these versions, there's a potion that will make your Tamagotchi's friendship level with the next Tamagotchi they connect to increase to the highest level.
You'll be able to get it, if you can find one of the secret codes…
Remember that these releases won't be able to marry a Keitai series device.
If your Tamagotchi grows old this will be the only way to get to the next generation.
ATTE and ADA turned into the senior characters, so I had to marry to each other like this.

Work
Your Tamagotchi will be able to go to class or work if you choose this option.
If your Tamagotchi is a preschooler, they'll just sing a bit with their teacher.
They'll get a point in one random skill if they do well.
If your Tamagotchi is a student, they'll meet Mr. Turtlepedia (intelligence or funny),
Ms. Flower (style or gorgeous) or Mr. Canvas (kindness or spiritual) depending on which class they're in.
You'll see three gifts, one of them containing an item. They'll swap places throughout the game (the blinking ones).
You must choose the gift that contains the item so your Tamagotchi can get three (V4) or four (V4.5) points in the skill corresponding to their class.
When your Tamagotchi gets a job, you'll be able to play a new game here.
If you win the game, your Tamagotchi will get eight (V4) or ten (V4.5) points in the skill corresponding to their job, more than what they'd get
by playing any of the regular games.
However, they won't get any money after playing the game. Your Tamagotchi will get paid the first time they go to work each day, not counting the day they got the job.
They'll get 1000 points if they didn't go to work the previous day, but the amount will increase if you play this game.
It may increase up to 200 points per game if you do well enough.
The game will be different depending on what job your Tamagotchi has. There are 15 jobs in total, but some of them share game (more or less, since they do change some visuals), so there's actually ten games on the V4 and twelve on the V4.5:
Scientist (V4 only) / Chef
You'll see a flask (científico) or cutlery (chef) next to your Tamagotchi.
Then, you'll see three of these items on top of the buttons, at the bottom of the screen.
You must press the button below the item that matches your Tamagotchi's.
Teacher / Fashion designer (V4 only)
You must gather the skills (teacher) or pieces of clothing (designer) requested at the top-right corner of the screen.
Once you're done, they'll ask for something else.
Press Ⓐ to change the selected item, Ⓑ to choose it and Ⓒ to move on to the next group of six items to search in.
If you chose the wrong item or a blank space, or you change the group when there was still an item of the type you needed,
the amount of items you must gather will increase.
News anchor / Singer
You'll see an arrow pass above symbols that correspond to the buttons Ⓐ (←), Ⓑ (○) and Ⓒ (→).
You must press the button indicated by each symbol as soon as the arrow passes above it.
Doctor / Banker
This game is very similar to GET♪ from the V3 and the Keitai series.
You must gather hearts (doctor) or Gotchi points (banker), and avoid the skulls (doctor) or poops (banker).
Use Ⓐ and Ⓒ to change which bag is open.
Baker / Florist
You'll see a series of cakes or flowers move along the bottom of the screen.
Press Ⓑ at the right time to lower the claw and make it grab an item that matches the one shown on the top-right corner of the screen.
Hold Ⓐ to make the items move faster.
Park worker (V4 only)
Your Tamagotchi needs to catch the balloons.
Press Ⓐ or Ⓒ to make them move left or right respectively, and Ⓑ to make them jump.
Your Tamagotchi won't be able to catch balloons that are too high up or directly above them, since the need to reach the balloons with their arms.
Circus performer (V4.5 only)
Your Tamagotchi must jump on a trampoline to reach and catch balloons.
Press Ⓑ right as they fall on the trampoline to make them jump higher.
Press Ⓐ (left) or Ⓒ (right) just as they pass next to a balloon to catch it. You must use either one button of the other depending on the side the balloon is at.
Dancer (V4.5 only)
You'll see your Tamagotchi dancing in the middle of the screen, surrounded by several circles.
One will be black, marking it as selected, and another one will be blinking.
Press Ⓑ when the blinking circle is selected.
Bodybuilder (V4.5 only)
In this one you just have to mash Ⓑ as many times as you can to fill up the bar at the top of the screen.
Do well, and your Tamagotchi will be able to drag the weight next to them off-screen.
Hairstylist
A Tamagotchi will sit in front of yours, who will have to fix their hair (even though some of them won't have any).
You'll see some groups of arrows pointing left (Ⓐ) or right (Ⓒ), and to make progress you must press the corresponding button as many times as there are arrows.
Preschool teacher
You have to count how many kids there are on the bus.
Press Ⓐ to choose a number and Ⓑ to confirm it.
Firefighter
There'll be three windows on the left side and your Tamagotchi on the right one.
You'll be able to see the building burning through the windows sometimes.
You have to put the fire out as soon as you can when you see it.
Press Ⓑ right when your Tamagotchi is in front of it for them to shoot water at the window.
Travel guide
Your Tamagotchi will drive a bus and you must make sure they don't hit any flowers.
Hold Ⓐ for them to stay at the top, Ⓒ so they stay at the bottom, and don't press anything for them to stay at the middle.
Retired
Your Tamagotchi will retire if they grow old.
After this happens, your Tamagotchi will just go visit their old workplace when you choose this option.
They'll just look at it without doing anything…
PC
This last option used to let your Tamagotchi visit Tamagotchi Town.
You'll be shown a code to login… into a page that's no longer available.
Thanks to Shroomtchi, we can still
[generate logout passwords]
to get Gotchi points.
Keep in mind that these passwords are in [hexadecimal], so you'll see the letters from A to F as well as the digits from 0 to 9.
